Ross Henderson is a native Atlantan and is a graduate of North Fulton High School and Oglethorpe University. He began his photography career while in high school and continued his photography experience while in college with the Marietta Daily Journal. After graduation he spent five years in the Army with American Forces Radio and Television and as an Army photographer, winning many photography awards in that division. The next fifteen years Ross was regional sales manager of a large mid-western publishing company and assisted his clients in the creative design of their material and in photography. From 1989 to 1996, Ross served on Billy Payne's Olympic staff in the Creative Services division. During the years leading up to the Olympics, it was his task to help take and to catalog all of the photographs to be used in the final report of the Olympics to the International Olympic Committee, and in April of 1996 Ross flew with Payne and a small ACOG group to Athens, Greece, to photograph the Olympic flame as it was brought back to the United States. During the Olympic games in Atlanta Ross served as Payne's personal photographer and after the games Ross formed his own company, Ross Henderson Photography. For over 26 years now Ross Henderson has been providing his many clients with lasting photographs of their most priceless memories, from family gatherings to the largest corporate events, from eighteen bridesmaid weddings to the lighting of the Olympic flame, from that company's brand new warehouse to Ted and Susan's new twin baby girls. The client list ranges from the General Electric Company to Invesco, from The Greater Atlanta Jewish Federation to The Seasons Magazine, from the United States Environmental Protection Agency to The Margaret Mitchell House, from The American Heart Association to Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, from the High Musem of Art to the Trammell Crow Company, and hundreds more.
